Mooring Chain Monitoring

I have helped develop Mooring Chain Monitoring software for FSOs (Floating Storage Units). The Mooring Chain Monitoring system uses tilt sensors located on the chain. Each sensor sends an acoustic angle signal to a central receiver. The software interprets the angle and determines if the mooring chain is still in an appropriate orientation.
